This class is the next level for those who are proficient with the basics of handguns and rifles. Students will spend more time shooting and working on marksmanship fundamentals, as well as having to make decisions on when and when not to pull the trigger. Multiple drills will be run to reinforce shooting fundamentals covered in the 100 level class, including stance, grip, sight pictures, and trigger manipulation.
Students should bring the following -a handgun with a holster (IWB or OWB) -a rifle with a sling -100 rounds of handgun ammo -100 rounds of rifle ammo -2 mags for the pistol (or extra speedloaders for revolver) -2 mags for the rifle -water or sports drink and snacks -appropriate weather gear -long pants -closed toe shoes appropriate for outdoor activity -a brimmed hat or headcover -PPE for COVID19 protection (masks, gloves, sanitizer) -PPE for range (eye cover, ear protection)
intermediate shooting level: can properly load and unload a firearm, knows and can display the 4 fundamentals of marksmanship (grip, stance, sight picture, trigger control), and knows the 4 firearm safety laws.
taken a 2-Swords Tactical level 100 course, or equivalent, prior to this class.
